A renovation of the Mob Arena. Empty A renovation of the Mob Arena.

I would like to propose just that. I've got inspiration, and with it, a load of great ideas.

"But how can all these ideas fit in such a small arena?" That's the thing! We make it bigger! More "multi-person" friendly. 3, maybe 4 floors to fight on. With the use of control blocks, the battlefield can be altered to give the player the upper hand, or end up in a fiery grave.

With so much more space means more and/or harder mobs! Flying mobs like Ghasts have room to roam about now, unleashing fiery hell upon the combatants! Swarm waves actually mean something when you are fending off a large horde of zombies, some even having gear! Yes, you heard me right, mobs with gear. You think the skeletons are annoying, with how fast they are without a bow, imagine some chasing you wearing full diamond armor! Make the special waves actually mean something! Mobs spawning under the effects of "semi-permanent" potion effects. Invisible creepers? And you thought the charged creepers in the old arena was bad! Now, if you manage to survive a good number of waves, say 50, you get to fight against the Wither, accompanied by a few Wither skeles. If you somehow survive to 100, fight the Ender Dragon as a final boss. Too easy of a final boss? Use the magic of Mob Arena to give it the ability to fire "Ender" balls at you. Now tell me how easy it is now, when the Ender dragon can actually fight back!

Now, I recall the ability to add chests to the Mob Arena which respawn whatever item they were set to them. Use this to make the players lives easier, but who said they were easy to get to? The best items would have you risking your lives trying to get to them, and not to mention the skeles that may be shooting at you as you precariously hop onto disappearing blocks over a pit of lava. Perhaps place a few secrets here and there to give everyone an easier time. I won't mention what they are, but some require a sequence of control blocks to be activated.

And surely with all the new features to be implemented, let's not forget classes. Here are a few ideas.

Acrobat: Comes with a pair of golden boots with the highest level of featherfall and the rest being leather armor. Give it, say, 3 ender pearls and a couple swiftness potions to get around, too. As for a weapon, a bow with a stack of arrows and a wood sword. They aren't the most combat capable class, now (Though, unarmed wrecks house anyways, everyone's a power hitter.)

Demolitionist: Wearing a set of explosion resistant chainmail armor, this class, being one of few who can place blocks, can utilize explosives to devastate the enemy. Comes with 16 TNT, a flint/steel, and a stone sword.

Summoner: Another class who can place blocks. This one can make a single iron golem and 3 snow golems in a fight to assist them. Comes with leather armor and no weapons.

Mechanic: Our last class capable of placing blocks. They come with 4 dispensers, 6 stacks of arrows, 2 pressure plates, 2 buttons, 16 redstone, 32 splash damage potions, 16 splash poison potions, and wears chainmail armor.

Berserker: Let's show some love for the other McMMO weapons. This badass comes with a diamond axe, leather armor with all 4 resistance enchantments on it, and 3 improved golden apples. (Think of these as a berserk state)

Sorceror: A magic user by whatever standards. Comes with a couple fire resist potions, a bow with infinity and fire 1, however suffers from a permanent weakness effect. Also, I lied about the last class to place blocks. This one comes with a bit of netherrack and a flint/steel to make a fire wall. In case things get messy, give it 8 ender pearls to escape from combat, as this class has no armor.

And lastly...

Monk: An unarmed master who runs around the field under the effects of a constant speed 2, punching things faces in. It has chainmail armor, however.

Now then, with that out of the way. Take the time to read it and tell me what you think. When I get admin approval on this, I will plan out the arena in creative mode (SP) and post screenshots of it when I'm done.
